Miss France 2025

Adeline Delrosso, a B3 Design student at SUPMODE, seized the opportunity to imagine and from A to Z one of Miss France 2024's outfits.. Adeline created a bespoke work of art for Cassiopée Rimbaud, Miss Roussillon.

Steps taken before completion

It all started with an article Adeline read in the newspaper, then she emailed Miss France directly to receive the entry form. The file to be returned included silhouettes but also inspirationsin text form. The inspirations are the stylistic choices, the choice of materials and the techniques that will be used during the production process.

An artistic approach

Adeline wanted to create a work of art that had meaning for her, but also for the world.. So she began by drawing inspiration from the history and culture of Roussillon. Despite the fact that inspiration was hard to come by, the trigger when she read an article on art. When her sister told her about the famous surrealist artist Dali, Adeline knew she had found her common thread.

Its aim was to to show that art can be found everywhere. Art has an important place for her, it's a refuge. It was also an opportunity for her to share her vision with the world.

A creative process that enhances every inspiration

After fine-tuning her research into Dali's works of art, Adeline turned her attention to forms but also volumes. After spending an entire night creating, drawing and sketching sketches, the final rendering fell into place.

Adeline was able to concentrate on model making after making contact with the regional committee and her Miss in order to have her exact measurements in order to create a tailor-made outfit.

Then, she was able to move on to the step of sourcing materials which enabled her to quickly start patterns. Next, she devoted herself to her molding. Adeline decided to create from a large mannequin thatshe cut then hot-formed to the Miss's body, creating a corset corset. She then added a tulle petticoat and a back structure where her mom will take the time to embroider this emblematic phrase in Catalan: "Perpinya es El center del mon". , that is, Perpignan is the center of the world..

For his mother, it's an embroidery of more than 40hfor Adeline, over 115h of work on this outfit. But Adeline never lost sight of her goal: to show everyone that art is everywhere.

The work on the work

To confirm and support her objective, Adeline doesn't stop there. hand-paint a reproduction of one of Dali's of one of Dali's works: "Dream caused by the flight of a bee around a pomegranate".. The surrealist surrealist artist has a unique vision that goes beyond ordinary perceptions, beyond our 5 senses. It's an alternative reality that offers a glimpse of a world different from the one we live in every day. In his work, Salvador Dali explored the dream world. The naked body of Gala, his muse and recurring source of inspiration, occupies a central place in his work. Freud's exploration of the unconscious, notably in his book "The Interpretation of Dreams" (1900), inspired the Surrealists to free the mind from rational constraints.

With this work, Adeline wanted to to shed light on the region's history and culture. That's why she focused on landscapes combining snow and sea, reproducing the background of Dali's work. Not to mention the Catalan reference embroidery, for example. The minimalist aspect of Adeline's reproduction once again allows the woman to take centre stage. the woman at the centerthis time not the muse but the Miss.

"I still can't believe it..."

Adeline describes the experience as experience of a lifetime. This opportunity has enabled her not only to showcase her work, but also to find and to share her art with others.. She talks about the importance of having a supportive, encouraging and uplifting environment. This experience has been more than rewarding, and has put the spotlight on her creation. on television in front of over 7 million people.

Before, Adeline had little confidence in herself.she belongs in this world. If she had to pass on a message? Believe in yourself, have confidence in yourself. No dream is too bigeverything is within your reach if you give yourself the means.
