The Design Office Manager is the link between design and production, managing a team of design office staff. He/she ensures the development and industrialization of new products, thanks to technical studies of models and specifications based on specifications and/or drawings supplied by the designer. He/she works according to manufacturing standards (standardization of sizes, etc.) and technical and economic production imperatives (quality, productivity, deadlines), and is responsible for ensuring that the product fits well.
