ROSA MARCBachelor 2
I completed a three-year bachelor's degree in Marketing & Fashion Design. I am currently a saddler and leather craftsman at Hermès. If you are passionate, ambitious, and creative, go for it at SUPMODE!
DiscoverFollowing my Bachelor's degree in Fashion Marketing & Design, I also enrolled in the MPI Art Director Master's program at SUPMODE. The Bachelor's degree offers a dual skill set in design and marketing, which is one of the reasons why I chose SUPMODE. I found it very enriching to learn how to create as well as how to sell the product, to be able to grasp all the stages of production and sales.
DiscoverPassionate about manga and art in general, I decided to pursue a career in fashion. Why did I choose SUPMODE? During my selection interview, I appreciated the school's educational approach and the course content! I did my end-of-study internship at Hermès, where I worked on collection plans and photo shoots for the fashion accessories division. I now work as an Assistant RTW Designer Menswear at Berluti.
DiscoverMy name is Rosa, and I am a second-year bachelor's student at SUPMODE. After an internship as a Patternmaking & Production Assistant at Asphalte in Bordeaux, I am currently working as a Product Manager Assistant at American Vintage. My duties in this position vary each day between fittings, creating prototypes, modifying patterns, and meeting with suppliers.
DiscoverFurther information
The first year at SUPMODE is open to students who have completed the baccalauréat, or who have validated a baccalaureate. The post-baccalaureate period is a high-stakes period for the grandes écoles, which must encourage the successful integration of former high school students into their establishments.
After a month's preparatory course at SUPMODE, students have a sufficiently broad cultural base in the fashion sector, and the fundamental skills needed for a successful career at a national school of higher education.
The first year is a cocktail of discovery for our students, who sweep up a wide range of knowledge on many subjects, including:
- The different product ranges from ready-to-wear to haute-couture
- The major fashion shows, and the history of each fashion designer
- Creating garments: sketches, prototypes, textile materials
- The posture of Fashion Designers
- The posture of Fashion Marketing & Communication Managers
- Organizing a fashion show
Specificities and nuances of the Fashion sector:
Fashion professions are multifaceted and can vary according to many factors, such as the size or structure of the company. To become a stylist, for example, you can find job offers for fashion stylists or model designers, and yet work as a stylist in both cases.
The Bachelor 1 year is a crucial one, as it is a time for students to mature as they enter the world of applied arts for the first time. They need to acquire a general and creative culture, while integrating a great deal of methodology.
With regard to pedagogical engineering, we have opted for a sequencing geared towards professionalization, with modules based on the associated job opportunities. This approach prepares students to specialize in the second year of Fashion Design or Fashion Marketing.
