Immersion in the world of London fashion
Our 1st year Bachelor of Fashion Design students flew to London, one of the most emblematic cities in the fashion world. For four days, they had the opportunity to discover this influential capital from every angle, from culture to art, via fashion.
The trip began with a guided tour of the city of London, ending with the famous Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, an impressive sight that left our students speechless. The city of London is brimming with areas devoted to fashion and design.
Our students had the opportunity to discover London's vintage districts: Camden Town, Brick Lane Market and Spitalfield Market, renowned for housing numerous thrift shops, vintage boutiques and creative workshops. The students also discovered contemporary art with a visit to the Tate Modern, a museum housing impressive works of modern and contemporary art. They also had the chance to discover the Fashion Textile Museum, a museum dedicated to fashion and textiles that offers a unique perspective on the history of British fashion.
One of the highlights of the trip was a visit to the Victoria & Albert Museum. They had the opportunity to discover the "Africa Fashion" exhibition, dedicated to African fashion and its influence on world fashion. The exhibition gave our students the opportunity to discover original and innovative creations.
The trip ended with a visit to Central St Martins, one of the world's most prestigious fashion schools, where students were given a behind-the-scenes look at the school.
This trip to London was a real immersion in the world of British fashion. The students discovered emblematic places that are a true source of inspiration for their creativity and passion for fashion.
