SUPMODE REVEALS ITS TALENTS AT THE 11TH EDITION OF ITS FASHION SHOW.

The beginning of June was marked by New Aquitaine's must-see fashion event: the annual SUPMODE Bordeaux (Campus des 11 Arts) fashion show.

Once again this year, the show was sold out at the iconic Patinoire de Mériadeck in Bordeaux.

3,000 spectators enjoyed this year's Art Parade.

ART AND FASHION

Since its creation, the SUPMODE fashion school has considered fashion design, combined with business skills, as an art in its own right. We affirm this vision at the Campus des 11 Arts through our teaching methods, which aim to develop our students' artistic approach at the heart of a brand strategy. An ambition supported by the House of LANVIN, our sponsor brand 2024-2025, present at the fashion show.

We were honored to welcome Ruben Gandia I Ripoll - Head of Menswear Asian Collections Maison LANVIN and Sylvain Ruffier - Customer Service Manager Maison LANVIN, who worked with our students over a two-week period to find the best solution to the following problem: rethinking LANVIN 's Men's collection in Blue (Japanese license), as well as its launch strategy.

This year, Art was at the heart of our Fashion Show, and our students in the "Fashion Designer & Brand Development" program from Bachelor 1 to Bachelor 3course revealed their artistic universes through 380 unique outfits.

A program rich in technical creations: Corset and Denim, upcycled Trench coats, Skirts and Tops, Kimonos, Men's outfits, Suit jackets created during the Quebec City internship. And also, creations centered around local techniques: Tie and Dye, Ecoprint... learned by our students during the Bangkok internship.

For the Bachelors 3 (Design and Marketing skills), the show was also a fabulous springboard for launching their brands to the general public.

Fashion wasn't the only thing on show! Dance and music were also part of the show. Cellist LOGAN A LA MELODIE opened the show, followed by Studio Attitude's professional company MEGA UNITY, runners-up inUDO France (United Dance Organisation) and winners of La France a un incroyable talent 2023.

STREET ART AND URBAN FASHION

Silhouettes were designed around the world of Graff: the fruit of a collaboration with graffiti artist Romain, aka @trafiquantdart. An opportunity for our students to explore the origins of this art form and its unique techniques (stencils, video projection, aerosols).

Our designers began by creating a graffiti canvas, then crafted a silhouette from it. Somewhere between upcycling and artistic creation, this collection questions the relationship between fashion and urban culture.

AN INCLUSIVE PARADE

The event was not only a success on the artistic front, but also allowed us to put the spotlight on theIRSAa long-standing partner that supports people with visual and hearing disabilities. And, to raise awareness among the general public thanks to the testimony of Jenny Cazal, a member ofIRSA and former Fashion Design student at SUPMODE.

During this collaboration, the Bachelors 1 created made-to-measure silhouettes for 12 young girls from the IRSA association, who became models for the evening.

We'd like to thank you sincerely for your participation and support for this exclusive event! We look forward to seeing you next year for the 12th edition.
