Biarritz Good Fashion
Every year, the BALI Chair organizes a day dedicated to Sustainable Fashion, showcasing professionals committed to promoting responsible fashion and regulating the fashion industry market. The aim of the event is to raise awareness of sustainability issues among consumers and professionals alike.
During these conferences, the teaching team observed various initiatives set up by committed players:
- The proposal for a digital product passport (PNP) as part of the Fashion Pact, presented to parliament on March 16, 2024 in conjunction with the AGEC law already passed. This PNP aims to improve recycling and promote product circularity and traceability.
- The "CHANGE FOR GOOD" transformation strategy within the ERAM Group, aimed at reducing the carbon footprint by 30% by 2025 and supporting corporate taxation.
- The Circular Fashion Federation's initiative to produce an annual white paper with recommendations to help companies adopt circular fashion.
- The Petit Bateau brand's commitment has involved its teams in the company's CSR approach and thinking.
- Asphalte's decision to opt for pre-order manufacturing to reduce overproduction and promote sustainability.
- Decathlon is currently rethinking its construction processes to produce a more responsible range.
These actions demonstrate the evolution of the fashion world towards greater sustainability, and SUPMODE is keen to adapt its educational programs in harmony with this positive trend, and to set up partnerships with committed players.
