Workshop - Creative at 9 or at 20 - All united in Santa's service
Working with pupils from the Anne Sylvestre elementary school in Bacalan, students in the Bachelor 1 Responsable Marketing & Design de Mode program were tasked with dressing teddy bears donated by the Kiwanis association for the festive season.
Kiwanis Association
Kiwanis is an international organization that works to help sick, disabled and disadvantaged children, providing them with material and moral support and happiness.
Their Golden Rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
The project
During this project, pairs were created:
A CM1/CM2 pupil from Anne Sylvestre school had to style the teddy bear by imagining a story, and write a greetings card to go with it.
Then a first-year SUPMODE student had to customize the teddy bear based on the child's drawing.
For Christmas, these teddy bears were donated to children at Libourne Hospital and to children sheltered by the APAFED association, which helps women victims of domestic violence, with or without children.
Everyone was delighted to work on this project, which combines creativity and generosity.
Mutual aid has shown us that in just 2 days, we can put smiles on the faces of sick children and children in difficulty.
