TRAVEL TO PARIS 2024

Voyage-Paris-24

A trip to Paris

Our Bachelor 3 and Mastère 1 students spent 4 days in the capital.

The various activities offered during this Parisian stay gave the students a total immersion in the world of design.

Cultural tours

First, they were treated to a tour of the luxury districts, guided by Abraham De Amézaga, Spanish fashion journalist, speaker and lecturer. Following this, the students took an exclusive tour of the Giorgia Viola press showroom

It was only at the age of 23 that Giorgia set up her own business, opening a discreet and exceptional luxury showroom located between Place Vendôme and the Jardin des Tuileries. The showroom is a public relations and consultancy agency specializing in supporting customers in the ultra-competitive women's luxury market.

On the second day, they went to Maison & Objet, an organization of exhibitions, fairs and trade shows specializing in the world of home and decoration. Its vocation is to bring together professionals who come specially to the show to order new products and spot new trends for their stores. A perfect source of creation and inspiration.

With this in mind, on the third day we headed to the international trade fair for ready-to-wear, accessories, beauty and lifestyle: Who's Next

Last but not least, a visit to the incredible Iris Van Herpen exhibition called "SCULPTING THE SENSES", held at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs et du Design. This exhibition pays tribute to one of the most visionary fashion designers of her generation, Iris Van Herpen. She transgresses the conventional norms of clothing. Something to delight our students.

To round off this stay, the watchwords were strolling and relaxation: lunch in the oldest covered market in Paris, the marché des enfants rouges, followed by a stroll in the Tuileries Gardens, and along the banks of the Seine, where you'll easily find the many bookshops along the quays of the Seine.
